Mood: who needs wind anyway
30th September 2012
Kite surfing: woolacombe
Wind Direction: sw
Wind Stength: 25 to 30kts
Surf / Sea State: big/messy
Air Temperature: 16
Sea Temperature: ok
Weather: sun then drizzle
Max Speed:
Distance Covered:

10m fully powered all day, too much at times one of those days when can't find your board as the sand blasting down the beach covers it up.

big big seas at times, but as the wind was so strong on some runs out the back the sea was flat, so you could blast out the back and catch huge swell, and ride it all the way in building to over head at times, and scary powerful aswell.

had a great time blasting the swallows, switching from toe to heal flips of waves. looping the kite on the way.

other guys out on 7's, and a big bloke, well bigger then me on a 7 as well, asked how i could hang on to the 10m..

just said i'd been kiting for ages, but thinking about it, i think a lot has to do with board control, and not just the depower on the kite,

Do new students, just get taught sheet out for power control...

any way great day, if somewhat kanckering
